We Are Still Reviewing Appeal Of Court Ruling

The Academic Staff Union of, has said, they would review appeal court’s Ruling, to know the next fate of decision.

Daily post had reported that the appeal court on Friday, order the striking lecturers of Academic Staff Union of Universities to resume with immediate effects.

In reaction, the president of Academic Staff Union of Universities, professor Emmanuel Osedeke said that the Union are in review of next action to take over the court ruling.

He also said that the Union, will review it with their lawyer to know the next action to over the lingering strike they embarked on February 14th, 2022.

Following the inability to resolved issues through dialogue, which dragged Academic Staff Union of Universities,(ASUU) to court on 11th September 2022,  on September 24th, the court order the striking lecturers to resume while negotiations continues which led Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU over taking the to Court of Appeal against ruling in favour of them.
