Strike: Students Set to Fix Protest Date in Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The National Association of Nigerian Student(NANS), Set to commence protest along  Lagos shagamu expressway, south west zone Nigeria.

According to National Association of Nigerian Student, the protest was organised against the lingering strike of which an Academic staff Union of Universities (ASUU), embarked on since February 14th 2022. The body also noted the passed of vote of no confidence to minister of labour and employment, Chris Ngige and his counterpart know as minister of Education, Adamu Adamu.

A statement was made yesterday by the leader of National Association of Nigerian Student (NANS), Adegboye Olatinju, the coordinator of south west zone over the paralyzed and crumble of academic calendar since the lingering strike from February 14th make it completely seven months.

Adegboye Olatinju describe government as inconsiderate of Nigeria students which shows their maladministration with no relevance.

He also said that the government went further to set up a universities without funding the already established in the country and been shutdown since February 14th as a result of their inconsiderable feeling for students.

Fortnight, a Lecturer who committed sucide as a result of their lookwarm attitude towards the teaching staff might face depression which led to the act of committing sucide, and therefore left the children behind which mayake life unbearable in today’s economic.

Adegboye Olatinju therefore declare the resignation of minster of labour and employment, Chris Ngige and his counterpart Adamu Adamu minister of education over the prolonged strike heading over six months and some weeks. Protest are to held in Lagos expressway shagamu till government heard the cry of the students and willing to resolve the existing issues with Academic staff Union of Universities (ASUU) for students to go back to their academic pursuit.
