List of Universities Under CONUA and their Historical Background

The Congress of Nigeria University Academics(CONUA) and the Nigeria Association of Medical and Dental Academics (NAMDA) are split union from Academic Staff Union of Universities (Asuu).

According to the information reaserch: the Congress of Nigeria University Association (CONUA) leadership is said to start some years ago which the federal government was unwilling to fulfilled in 2018.

The Union managed by Niyi Sunmonu, the president of Congress of Nigeria University Association (CONUA) who is a lecturer at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife, said that the registration started 2018 of which official location was launch and gather by 120 people, including the guest from the university of Ilorin and Kwara state university.

Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-ife hosted national stakeholders meeting of Congress of Nigeria University Association on October 4 to 6 which was attended by delegated numbers according to source. The delegated members including FUOYE, AKPOMA, KWASU and OAU.

The Congress of Nigeria University Association also state there are numerous position available, ranging from graduate assistant to the least level.

He further said the Union have established branches from various level of Academic in sharing same idealogy, condition, Visio and aim.
