Asuu Strike: Court Adjourns FG, Asuu Case Till September 19.
The National industrial court has adjourned the suit filed by Federal Government about the ongoing strike embarked on February 14th by an Academic staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to Monday 19th September to hear the interlocutor of federal government.
The counsel to federal government, James Igwe asked, the case should be given a quickly attention for students to go back to their various campuses, to continue their academic pursuit.
James Igwe told the court, since the case is right before the court, it will be proper for the strike to be call off than wait the determination of the suit.
Falana addeed, Academic Staff Union of the Universities, (ASUU) is currently meeting with stakeholders to resolved the lingering strike embarked on 14th February 2022. And thereby appealed to federal government to cooperate in resolving the existing strike which has shattered the future of many students and academic staff.
