Asuu Strike: Asuu Suspended Eight Months Strike Conditionally

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) suspended its eight months strike conditionally.

The member of Union’s National Executive Committee told channel Tv about the suspended lingering strike since February 14, 2022.

The strike was suspended by the Union on thursday night during the meeting which lasted for hours.

The meeting was called to take decision over the court of appeal ruling last week.

The branches of academic staff takes a decision few days back to voted for either continuation or suspension of the lingering strike. During the outcome, majority voted for suspension of the strike.

Students are to wait for school management to release the academic calendar.
